BOB NGUYEN · DISTRICT 4
Millbrae › District 4 › City Council 2026
Bob Nguyen for Millbrae City Council, District 4. Responsible, sustainable growth.
Responsible, sustainable growth for our city.
Why I'm Running
I'm running for City Council to keep Millbrae a safe, livable, and financially stable place to raise our families. Our city is only roughly 3 by 3 miles, but we face real pressures from regional growth, infrastructure needs, and rising costs. I want to bring a balanced, data-driven approach that protects our neighborhoods while planning responsibly for the future.
Five key pillars for responsible, balanced leadership in Millbrae.
-
01
Strong, Reliable Infrastructure
Focus city resources on maintaining and upgrading streets, sidewalks, drainage, and utilities before chasing flashy projects.
-
02
Responsible Spending & Budget Transparency
Spend taxpayer dollars responsibly — fund the basics first, cut waste, and keep the budget open and easy for residents to follow.
-
03
Thriving Local Businesses & Downtown
Support businesses with predictable rules and clear communication.
-
04
Safe, Livable Neighborhoods
Maintain a strong focus on public safety while also addressing quality-of-life issues like speeding, noise, and cleanliness.
-
05
Fair Representation in Regional Decisions
Make sure Millbrae has a strong, informed voice with the region and the boards that affect our housing, transit, and budget.
Steady, manageable growth.
Millbrae is growing — modestly but steadily. Here is our population at each U.S. Census. Planning honestly for that growth, while protecting what makes Millbrae feel like home, is what responsible leadership looks like.
